Rate of age-grade distortion - Basic Education
Concepts and definitions:
Age-grade distortion is the proportion of students who are two or more years behind in school. In Brazil, a child must enter the 1st year of Basic Education at six  years of age, remaining until the 9th year, with the expectation that they will conclude their studies in this modality until fourteen years of age.
